As the school year comes to a close, it is time to look back and celebrate the incredible growth, achievements, and spiritual milestones of our school community. This year has been filled with academic success, vibrant community events, and deep faith formation.

We opened the 2025-26 school year to 40 eager new kindergarten students, and we watched them grow in confidence and curiosity.  We ended this year by proudly bidding farewell to our 24 8th-grade graduates, confident that they are moving forward to high school with strong foundations.

Our students showed outstanding dedication to their studies, resulting in measurable academic growth across all grade levels.  Students achieved significantly improved test scores in  reading, math, and language proficiency.  Our students celebrated this growth by throwing water balloons at Mr. Baker during Track and Field Day.

Our community continued their support of RCS by attending several events throughout the school year.  During STREAM Night in March,  families explored hands-on learning through interactive science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and math projects.  Over 400 students and family members attended the Student Showcase in May.  Students proudly displayed their hard work, creativity, and academic growth from throughout the year.  Finally, supporters of RCS gathered in January for Taste of KCK, a celebration of our rich cultural diversity through delicious food, music, and fellowship.  Despite a snow storm, the community donated generously in support of our mission.

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to our Catholic faith and spiritual growth.  Our students continued to gather as a community every week to receive the Eucharist and grow closer to God.  We dedicated time each week to honor the Blessed Mother and reflect on the mysteries of our faith during Rosary.  We are grateful for each day of this past year.
