Enrollment for New Families

Want to learn more about Resurrection Catholic School? Ready to enroll your child? New families should complete the steps below:

STEP 1: Complete the Information Request Form 

 

STEP 2: Complete the Enrollment Packet

  • After you submit the Information Request and an office staff contacts you, we will confirm your mailing address and mail you an enrollment packet.

  • The enrollment packet includes:

    • Enrollment forms (e.g. contact information, student information)

    • Information about applying for financial aid and KS tax credit 

    • For students entering grades 4-8: 3 evaluation forms to be completed by the student, parent, and a current teacher

  • If you are looking to enroll for the next upcoming school year (beginning in August), we will mail you an enrollment packet when they are available. Enrollment packets are typically finalized and ready to send out each February. 

  • If you are looking to enroll mid-year (e.g. transfer from one school to another anytime between August and May), we will mail you an enrollment packet if there is available space in your child's grade. 

STEP 3: Apply for Financial Aid

  • There are several financial aid options for new families. To view all of the financial aid options click here.

  • Families interested in applying for financial aid must apply through FACTS at FACTS Online and include their most recent tax return information. These forms are required. Information from your application helps us and the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) determine if you are eligible for financial aid. 

  • There are deadline dates for financial aid applications. Financial aid is awarded as it is available; therefore, we highly encourage families to submit their FACTS online application as soon as possible.

 

STEP 4: Pay Enrollment Fee

  • All families must pay a non-refundable enrollment fee. Until this fee is paid, your child is not considered enrolled and a spot in the class cannot be guarunteed. We do experience waitlists. To avoid being placed on a waitlist, you must turn in the enrollment fee and all required paperwork (as listed above). 

  • Information about the enrollment fee can be found in your enrollment packet. 

  • Payments should be dropped off or mailed to the school office at 425 N. 15th St., Kansas City, KS 66102. 

 

STEP 5:  Turn in Parish Verification Form

  • To receive the in-parish tuition rate, drop off the Parish Verification form at your parish. Your Pastor will complete the form and return it to you.

  • To receive the in-parish tuition rate, you should be or become a registered, actively contributing parishioner at one of our supporting parishes: All Saints, Holy Family, St. John, St. Mary / St. Anthony, and St. Peter's Cathedral.

  • If you are a parishioner at a parish that is not one of our supporting parishes, you will not receive the in-parish tuition rate.
