Resurrection Catholic School's middle school consists of students in grades 6-8. MIDDLE SCHOOL Resurrection's middle school students are students enrolled in grades 6 through 8. All students at Resurrection, especially middle school students, are held to high expectations. We expect students to be actively involved in their education, participating in class, completing homework, and taking initiative. Students are also expected to meet behavior expectations. Academics Students continue to receive instruction in all core subject areas, as well as specials. Middle school teachers are certified to teach specific subject areas and to provide specialized instruction. Students switch between classes. Like students in K-5, middle school students also receive support from the Resource Teacher, Enrichment Coordinator, Math Coordinator, STREAM Coordinator, Title I Teachers, English as a Second Language (ESOL) Teacher, and Reading Coordinator. Leadership Opportunities As the leaders of the school, middle school students are given opportunities to develop their leadership skills. Examples include helping with morning announcements, delivering lunches to the kinder, and raising and lowering the flag. 8th Grade Students A student's eighth-grade year includes a number of special events and experiences. This includes: Working with their Kindergarten buddies Serving as the leader of a Saint Community The Sacrament of Confirmation Participating in the 8th grade and Confirmation retreat Presentation of Achievement Project: Why I Should Graduate Formal breakfast and award ceremony Graduation Mass and ceremony

PRESCHOOL Resurrection Preschool Resurrection Catholic School's Preschool programs are open to children that are 3 years of age and 4 years of age by August 31st. Students must also be potty-trained. ​ 3-year-old Preschool (PK3) and 4-year-old Preschool (PK4) runs from August to May. Both PK3 and PK4 is Monday through Friday, from 7:50 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Preschool students participating in the breakfast program may arrive at 7:30 A.M. After-school Extended Learning programs are available from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. ​ Academics Preschool provides an early childhood education that helps children develop skills that make them ready to learn when they start school. This is referred to Kindergarten readiness. These skills, which are developed through our comprehensive curriculum, include: Executive functioning skills Social skills Emotional self-regulation skills PK3 and PK4 utilize materials from Big Day for Pre-K (preschool curriculum program), Second Step (social and emotional development), Who Am I? (religion program), and Writing our Catholic Faith (faith-based writing program). ​ Enrollment Our Preschool classes do fill up fast so it is important to complete the enrollment process in early Spring.
