Mrs. Vanice joined RCS in 2013. She attended St. Ann Catholic School (Prairie Village, KS) and graduated from Bishop Meiege High School. She is married with 4 children. Mrs. Vanice is inspired to help RCS students develop the skills they will need to be leaders in both their communities and in their Catholic faith.

Allie Dorsey

Mrs. Dorsey joined RCS in 2013. She attended Catholic school for most of her education. She has always loved science and math and is passionate about incorporating her love of these subjects into the RCS community.
Mary Cate Brauner

Ms. Brauner joined RCS in 2020. She attended Catholic school from Kindergarten through college. She loves to travel, especially when it involves living in another country and absorbing other cultures. She is passionate about preserving the beautiful parts of traditional education while charging ahead to equip students with vital 21st-century skills.
Erin Peavey

Mrs. Peavey joined RCS in 2019. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic School (Lenexa, KS) and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS). She is happily married and a mom of two children. She loves reading, writing, and making connections with her students.
Therese Melero

Mrs. Melero joined RCS in 2018. She is happy to be working with students at RCS where students are supported by a very dedicated staff.
Janet Hensler
Title I Teacher,
Education: B.S. in Education
Mrs. Hensler joined RCS in 2019. She supports students in Kindergarten through third grade with Reading and Math. She attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through college, graduating from Avila University. Mrs. Hensler has taught in Catholic schools for 29 years. She is married and has three grown children and six grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoys working with children and is passionate about finding ways to teach each individual child in the way that best suits their learning needs.
Maria Modzelewski

Mrs. Modzelewski joined RCS in 2020. She has been a teacher for over 20 years and a reading specialist for 15 years. Mrs. Modzelewski attends Mass at St. Peter's Cathedral. She has been happily married for 39 years to her husband, Modz. They have 2 adult children and two grandchildren, who attend St. Ann Catholic School. She is excited to be a part of the diocese that she raised her children in. She enjoys doll-making and collecting, reading, drawing, and spending time with family. She looks forward to meeting many more families and inspiring child
